| The USA National Folklorico Awards Competition Association was started to establish a consistent and coordinated series of events that will attain national recognition. The competitions and showcase events will always be open to all groups.
Several professional dancers came together in order to establish an organization that will provide forums and exposure to all the talent that exists while performing Folklorico dances. The goal is to hold Folklorico competitions annually throughout the United States as a showcase of its artistic beauty and of the magnificent talent, that interprets it.
THE STARS OF THESE EVENTS ARE THE DANCERS AND DIRECTORS. USA National Folklorico Awards Competition Association will only sponsor and coordinate the events; we are not a dance group.
These competitions will give the artists the opportunity to dance in the best halls and theaters, in front of huge audiences, and with the accessibility of talent agents. All this will require developing that discipline that is necessary to be good enough to be a champion.
The USA National Folklorico Awards Competition Association will provide the framework for this to happen. Professional dancers will judge the performances of the dancers. They will insist that the proper techniques of dance be used, that steps and movements be precise and artistic. Those with the talent, desire and work ethic will be rewarded. The USA National Folklorico Awards Competition Association will be a clearinghouse to casting agents for dancing talent.
MISSION STATEMENT
The USA National Folklorico Awards Competition Association is committed to continuously provide quality competitive opportunities and forums, for dancers and teachers to showcase their skills and continue developing their dancing careers. We are dedicated to promoting discipline, pride, techniques, ethics, and cultural awareness in a healthy family oriented atmosphere.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
In our nine years, we continue to be one of the premier Mexican Folklorico and Latin dance competition organizations in the United States.
We have been true to our Mission of providing performance opportunities and as ambassadors of all Folklorico Groups in the USA.
Over 102 groups and more than 1,400 dancers have now participated in our first nine seasons. We have now organized over 36 official dance competitions.

Albertson's, Cacique Inc. and Guerrero Mexican Food Products have been the major sponsors of the annual Dance Competitions.
Albertsons' and Wells Fargo
have used the services of USA National Folklorico to obtain groups to dance for them at various locations. Since 2001 we have sent over 109 groups to perform and have paid over $275,000 in performance fees.
From 2003 through 2010, Albertsons' has awarded USA National Folklorico the Biggest Performance Contract "Ever" to any one organization. They continue to invite us to send Folklorico Groups each weekend throughout California for the entire year to provide more than 200 performances in their "En Tu Comunidad" programs.
